Can We Help You?
Whether you’re building a new website or retrofitting an existing site, Alt Tags offers a variety of services to help you achieve your goals.
Accessibility Testing: We’ll put your site through a series of automated and manual tests and document the results. A detailed report will highlight the problems we encounter on your website and offers guidance on fixing them.
Accessibility Training: Unclear on what this whole “accessibility” thing is about? Let us spend a few hours talking with you and your team about web accessibility and how it can enhance your business. We’ll review the guidelines and walk you through your site — showing you how you can improve accessibility and acheive compliance.
Usability Analysis: If you build it, they might come…but will they be able to use it? Let us help you improve your online services with a detailed usability analysis. We’ll perform a series of tests and develop practical solutions to make your site more usable.
Information Architecture: Often, the most important part of your website is the last thing considered. We can help you design effective site navigation and improve the organization of your content. We’ll perform a detailed content inventory, analysis of user groups, and help you create a solid foundation for your new website, or improve the foundation of an existing website.
Project Planning: Before you commit a single dollar to your next web project, let us help you create a comphrehensive set of requirements and goals for your site. Having a detailed plan helps in picking the right technology and ensures that your project is completed on budget and exactly as you envision it.
WordPress: We have extensive experience with the WordPress. We’ve implemented WordPress as both a blogging system and a general Content Management System (for smaller sites, obviously). Additionally, we’ve recently launched a series of WordPress training videos at WPApprentice.
The Alt Tags Team
Kirk Biglione developed his first website over a short weekend in 1995 after immersing himself in the online world during the pre-web era. A frequent speaker on Internet-related topics, he keeps current with the ever-changing technology and uses his knowledge to create standards-based websites that are usable and accessible.
Kassia Krozser first encountered the Internet in 1988. Since then, she’s watched it grow from a frustrating dial-up experience to the one thing many people can’t live without. Her focus is ensuring that her clients get the best possible website they can. This means working with them to determine their needs and goals, creating solid information architecture, and ensuring that the resulting site is usable by all users — no matter how they access the site.
